Monkey Slave Labor

The following post was pre-written by WordPress monkeys, but all my comments will be bracketed and italicized.

The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:

Healthy blog!

A helper monkey made this abstract painting, inspired by your stats.

A Boeing 747-400 passenger jet can hold 416 passengers. This blog was viewed about 1,500 times in 2010. That’s about 4 full 747s.

In 2010, there were 47 new posts, not bad for the first year! There were 46 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 4mb. That’s about 4 pictures per month.

The busiest day of the year was October 13th with 155 views. The most popular post that day was A Storm’s In The Wind.

Where did they come from?

The top referring sites in 2010 were facebook.com, youknowagay.wordpress.com, obama-scandal-exposed.co.cc, counter.bestproceed.com, and twitter.com.

[I think items three and four from above are hilarious]

Some visitors came searching, mostly for dylan_frederick, legends of salado, harry potter nowhere is safe, iwantitthis, and i hope the stars are kissing your cheeks tonight.

[It would seem Master Frederick even steals the spotlight on my own blog. Shoulda known…]

[End of pre-written post]

So there you have it. I was feeling good about myself ’til I read another post like this, where the number of hits quadrupled the number of books printed this year. I do hope the monkeys are fed well.

Stay Tuned,
